Pong Cheese is at The Laithwaites Wine Show 2011

Join us and our favourite wine experts Laithwaites in the magnificent vaulted Great Halls at Vinopolis in London Bridge on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd October. The event, The Laithwaites Wine Show 2011, is over 3 sessions.
Laithwaites say "There will be 200 of our best wines on show – and all poured for you by the winemakers and owners of the Estates. We'll also have a room dedicated to learning more about enjoying wine and another showing what’s going on at Le Chai au Quai".
Apart from fantastic wines Pong will also be there with some legendary cheeses and the chance of the odd cheese-maker. We will matching some of our best sellers with some of the wines on show and discovering the best pairings of all.

Clever Peter(?), the Goat Man.
I have hated goats cheese for over 30 years after buying a foul tasting stinking variety. At the show I tasted goats cheese for the first time in over 30 years and LOVED it. I bought a largish chunk and gave it to my son and he too was delighted with the flavour and texture. Thanks - I'll buy again.
I thought the cheese was called Rachel - but I can't find it on the site.
